Fillers with FIRM consistency are placed deep on bone under the muscle adding volume where facial contours are flat, or where bone loss has occurred. In addition to replacing lost volume, our special placement techniques have the added benefit of lifting sagging skin. adLIFT™ fillers add shape and volume and are most commonly used to enhance the cheekbones, lift eyebrows, improve jawline and chin definition and treat dark shadows around the lower eye rim.

I have a special event next week, can I come and have filler placed beforehand?
It can be common for some people to develop a bruise or mild swelling at the filler site. We recommend that patient's who want to have filler treatment prior to a special event, attend at least one week beforehand for their treatment. This way any bruising or swelling that may occur as a result of the treatment process will have resolved.
Why doesn't my filler last as long as my friends?
Many things influence how long the effects of a filler will last. Our bodies have special breakdown chemicals known as enzymes and the naturally occurring enzymes that breakdown our bodies collagen will also breakdown filler. As everybody is different, some people may have more of these enzymes than others. Activity and external factors can also effect the rate of breakdown of filler placed in our bodies, so remember to discuss and all of your concerns during the consultation with your Facelab clinician. Sometimes just changing the filler product will give a longer lasting effect.

HA is a natural substance found in the body’s connective tissue and skin and is used to plump and contour the face and fill out wrinkles from within. This added support also has a lifting effect for sagging skin. Once injected, the HA filler improves both the structure and hydration of the skin and facilitate the body’s own production of collagen (neocollangenesis).
FACELAB clinicians only use the most reputable fillers with added local anaesthetic, which can be moulded by the clinician for the most desired immediate effect. The fillers used can be fully or partly removed with a dissolving agent if required.
