Why do you need to come in for a follow-up visit 1-2 months later?
The skin after the procedure is regenerated not only from the outside (it is visible) but also the regeneration of tissues inside (this you will not see). Therefore, such a period is recommended. If done earlier, more pigment will be rejected, perhaps the regeneration process will be more difficult since the skin that has not yet fully healed will be injured. These terms are not chosen by chance.
The crust begins to fall off, and almost nothing is under it. Will be there nothing left?
This is completely normal. This is due to the fact that your skin is now in the active regeneration stage. Under the crusts, a new skin area was formed, more dense and opaque. The pigment beneath it seems very pale or invisible at all. The pigment will appear after 3-3,5 weeks.
